Today's Pole Barn is the most flexible building system available today. These types of structures are commonly used for garages, toy barns, horse barns, churches, office buildings, warehouses, Ag storage, and just about any other use you can think of. Many people think that this type of building is easy to construct but today's Pole Barns are very different that what was being built even 10 years ago. Today's buildings are not your grandfather's pole barn. We decided to start J & O Post frame consulting because we continued to see people put their trust in a contractor only to see problem after problem arise on their projects. The problems range from a lack of quality, change orders for things that the customer thought was included, poor quality materials, poor quality workmanship, and initially overpaying for your project. In order to get a building built you have to put your trust in someone. Every building contractor you talk to has an agenda. They want to make money off of your project. They are not on your side they are on their own side. We however, are on your side. We work for you and your best interest. There are contractors who are very good at their jobs and will treat you fairly, but there are many more that are looking to make as much money as possible off of you. Our job is to help you find the good ones. The problem that we kept seeing in the industry was the average person just doesn't have the expertise or time to learn what they need to know about post frame buildings in order to not get taken advantage of. We are in business to assure the quality of your project. In today's economy, no one can afford to waste money on a bad decision.
